Special Piranha Ironworker Tooling
Designed to Increase Productivity

Piranha tooling engineers are available to work with customers to create special punch and die combinations to accommodate special applications and speed production.

A Piranha special 4-hole cluster punch and die set was designed specifically for use on a Piranha P-50 ironworker with 50 tons of power.

The 4-hole cluster punches four 1/2" round holes on 2" centers, 2" apart in each direction. Material to be punched is 1/4" x 4" wide A36 steel bar.

The 4-hole cluster tooling increases production speed and maintains accuracy for hole placement.

Large, open throats on Piranha ironworkers easily accommodate a broad variety of special tooling. Split dovetail slide mountings on punching – and bending – attachments allow for fast removal and accurate set-up.

The Piranha P-50 has an 8" throat depth; 4-1/4" stroke length. Its 50-tons of power will punch up to a 13/16" hole in 3/4" and a 5" hole in 1/8" steel. Plate shear is 15-1/2" long; standard angle shear 5" x 5" x 3/8"; bar shear for rounds from 1/4" to 1-1/2" and square bar from 1/2" to 1". The 56-ton coper/notcher handles up to 2-3/4" x 4" x 1/4".
