New Bertsch CD Shows
Plate Roll Models in Action

A new Bertsch CD shows two models of the Bertsch plate roll equipment in action – a 4R 100-10 (four roll) with capacity to 1" x 10' and a #24-08 4R with 2-1/8" x 8' capacity. The CD, Power, Precision, Quality, shows the rolling process from pre-bend through a finished rolled part.

Both the standard control and the easy-to-program, optional CNC are shown. The CNC saves time by simplifying the programming of repeatable, complex shapes.

A core line of Bertsch plate rolls is available handling capacities up to 1-1/4" x 10'; however, rolls have been developed to bend material up to 14" thick.

Bertsch, a leader in the production of heavy duty metal forming equipment since 1879, combines the latest technology with over 100 years of experience in the development of their machines. Bertsch provided the first heavy plate rolls purchased for nuclear submarine, power plant and off shore drilling jacket applications.

Bertsch has earned its reputation as the "most respected name in heavy plate rolling" through consistently building rugged, durable equipment.
