ProBEND™ Press Brake
Whitney's new ProBEND press brakes are designed to produce the lowest cost, highest quality bends for plate fabricators.
Lower cost bends are accomplished through set-up reduction, the need for fewer tools, faster cycling times and a highly accurate, repeatable process.
The graphical CNC control allows operators to visualize the bend. They have total control of approach speed, pressing speed and retract speed, maximizing production time.
Y1/Y2 synchronized hydraulic cylinders give repeatable bed parallelism to 0.0004".
Standard backgages have twin drive x-axis to assure repeatability with over 1,000 lbs. of holding force, and dual z-axis to keep multiple, sequential bends simple. A six axis option is available.
Other options include:
- Hydraulic tool clamping eliminating the need for shims and reducing set-up time; and
- Crowning system to assure fast repeatable bends;
Whitney's ProBEND press brakes are available in multiple size, tonnage and tooling options.
The first Whitney ProBEND Press Brake was introduced and demonstrated during the Whitney Open House in April.
